Cézanne et Krylon
Katie and I went to the Cézanne and Beyond exhibit this weekend at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It showcased Cézanne as the godfather of a generation of artists, and featured his work alongside the work of those he influenced. One of my all-time favorite artists is Piet Mondrian, the Dutch Neo-Platicist, who art historian David Sylvester calls "Cézanne's truest heir." My favorite work in the whole exhibit was his:

That sounds like a great exhibit. I like Cezanne a lot. I don't get that last one, but I'm not that cultured. :)
